WILDCAT is a curated selection of iconic photography by Leee Black Childers, paired with custom and vintage clothing from Stephen ‘Smutty’ Smith.
Stephen ‘Smutty’ Smith, a British-born musician, DJ, and FM radio host broadcasting weekly from Iceland, brings with him a lifetime of rockabilly and punk lineage. A founding member of Neo-Rockabilly pioneers Levi & The Rockats, Smutty shared stages with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Adam and the Ants, Jayne County, and Steel Pulse. He is currently writing his memoir.
Leee Black Childers captured the raw energy and glam of 1970s counterculture — from Warhol’s Factory and the Bowery to backstage with Bowie and drag queens in New York. His work is a vivid time capsule of rock ‘n’ roll excess, queer rebellion, and punk’s chaotic rise.
